Rebekah Sculley completes leadership excellence program

Rebekah Sculley, RDH, MS, assistant professor/clinical in the Department of Periodontics, Division of Dental Hygiene, graduated from the Leadership Excellence for Academic Professionals (LEAP) program on November 11. Professor Sculley, along with her three groupmates, presented their capstone project entitled, “Streamlining Dental Care for Head & Neck Cancer Patients: A Model for Inter-Professional Collaboration”. LEAP is an eleven-month professional development program for employees with goals to expand their leadership knowledge and practical application skills while identifying opportunities for the institution’s advancement. Professor Sculley’s team included fellow LEAP graduates Steve Brown, associate administrator, Long School of Medicine; Savosha Norwood, senior manager of talent acquisition, HR; and Joshua Asper, PA-C, deputy chair of operations, Radiation Oncology.
