The 98th General Session and Exhibition of the International Association for Dental Research and 49th Annual Meeting of the American Association for Dental Research will be held this March in Washington, D.C. While these events are still a few months away, the º£½ÇÂ×ÂÒ School of Dentistry is proud to report: • Dr. Asma Khan, Associate Professor in Endodontics, will receive the 2020 IADR Distinguished Scientist Award in Pharmacology/Therapeutics/Toxicology Research • Scott Block, DS 2 mentored by Dr. Chih-Ko Yeh, has been selected by the IADR Salivary Research Group as an award winner in the dental student category. This award will officially be announced at the SRG business meeting held on March 19th. • Shivam Patel, DS 2 mentored by Dr. Nikita Ruparel, has been selected as one of 27 competitors participating in the AADR Hatton Competition. Shivam will conduct an oral presentation on Tuesday, March 17th and will have a poster presentation for the General Session. Winners of the AADR Hatton Awards Competition will be announced at the Opening Ceremonies on Wednesday, March 18th .
