During the February 2019 UT System Board of Regents meeting, several of the º£½ÇÂ×ÂÒ's promotion and tenure applications were reviewed. We are proud to announce the following dental faculty were awarded promotion and/or tenure.

• Armen Akopian, Ph.D. from the Department of Endodontics was awarded Professor with Tenure.

• Anibal Diogenes, D.D.S., Ph.D. from the Department of Endodontics was awarded Professor with Tenure.

• Rujuta Katkar, B.D.S., M.S. from the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry was awarded Associate Professor with Tenure.

• Georgios Kotsakis, D.D.S., M.S. from the Department of Periodontics was awarded with Associate Professor, Tenure Track.

• Peter M. Loomer, BSc, D.D.S., Ph.D., MRCD(C), FACD from The Office of the Dental Dean was awarded Professor with Tenure.

• Rahma Mungia, B.D.S., M.S. from the Department of Periodontics was awarded Associate Professor/Research.

• Angela Palaiologou-Gallis, D.D.S., M.S. from the Department of Periodontics was awarded Professor with Tenure.

• Stefanie Seitz, D.D.S., from the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry was awarded Associate Professor/Clinical.

• Kyumin Whang, Ph.D. from the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry was awarded Professor/Research.
