2019 CODA Report

I am delighted to share with you that we have received the official report from the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) regarding our October 2019 site visit.  This report ratifies the º£½ÇÂ×ÂÒ School of Dentistry’s status as fully accredited with no recommendations or reporting requirements through the year 2026 for the following programs: • Predoctoral Dental Education Program • Advanced Dental Education Programs in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, Dental Public Health, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics, and Prosthodontics (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology are evaluated on a different review cycle) • Allied Dental Education Program in Dental Hygiene You may recall me sharing this with you last October, but it is worth repeating that the º£½ÇÂ×ÂÒ School of Dentistry receiving the status of full accreditation with no recommendations or reporting requirements is the highest possible outcome any dental school can be awarded from an accrediting agency. I am tremendously proud of our people and programs.  A huge thank you to Dr. Adriana Segura, who led the accreditation process, our program directors, and the entire accreditation team!  It is because of you that we are living our vision to be recognized as the leading academic oral health institution. Kindest regards, Peter M. Loomer, B.Sc., D.D.S., Ph.D., MRCD(C), FACDProfessor and Dean
