Research Topic

Candida albicans is an opportunistic fungal pathogen responsible for being the 4th leading cause of hospital-acquired nosocomial bloodstream infections in the United States. C. albicans is a successful human pathogen due to several virulence properties. Jonathan’s project aims to elucidate the potential novel role of Scp160 in regulating C. albicans virulence properties.
